UNICEF works to protect the rights and welfare of children and helps children and young people reach their potential, especially the most vulnerable. UNICEF prioritizes programs that positively impact the lives of the most vulnerable children, regardless of status, ability or nationality.
UNICEF/Jordan makes every effort to provide a better life for all children from birth. It supports the provision of quality education and protection from violence and seeks to empower young people by equipping them with life skills and opportunities to enhance their effective participation in society, with special focus on the most vulnerable boys and girls. Through its partnership with the Jordanian government and civil society, UNICEF contributes to the promotion of the rights of children and young people by supporting a sustainable child protection system, with its respective laws, policies, implementation procedures and ensuring social justice and equal opportunities for all children in Jordan.
